The conservation and management of fishery resources ecosystem-based in the South China Sea
At present, the conservation and management of fisheries resources in the South China Sea is restricted by many factors, including the South China Sea fisheries overfishing, coastal pollution of the marine environment continued to intensify, the regional nearby South China Sea coordinated adverse of fisheries resources conservation and management, the excessive competition of the South China Sea fishery resources development, the South China Sea disputes over maritime rights and interests of fishery disputes, the pollution influence of the South China Sea as an international waterway.Since twenty-first Century, the marine ecosystem-based management (EBM) has become the main method of marine resource management, it emphasizes the ecological system management including humans, to achieve and maintain ecosystem health and stability, to ensure continuing to provide variety services for human required.EBM not only stress the need to break the administrative boundaries to achieve ecosystem-based management,and to encourage broad participation in order to achieve the management effect which can maximize compliance with related interests.Therefore, we should explore the establishment of South China Sea fishery resources conservation and management mode based on the ecological system, to eliminate and reduce the adverse effects of factors, to achieve the sustainable use of ecological protection and resources in South China Sea fisheries.
