On perfecting article 43 of UNCLOS--Taking the oil ppill emergency response cooperative mechanism for the strait of malacca as an Illustration
Since Article 43 of UNCLOS is not detailed, its fuzziness and imperfection precluded the work of the clause.In view of this item, this paper put forward suggestions to perfect the Article 43.In order to exam the feasibility of these suggestions, with the analysis of actual situations and attitudes of littoral States and users States, it elaborates the ideas of establishing an oil spill emergency response cooperative mechanism for the Strait of Malacca.On one hand, these ideas can provide practice model for implementing the offered suggestions of Article 43, on the other hand, they can achieve the object of perfecting the existing cooperative mechanism for the Strait of Malacca.
