A New RNPS Design by A Special Calibration Method with Schmitt Trigger and 3D Hall
This paper describes a new sensor electromagnetic design by using two types of switch output signals to detect the neutral position and reverse gear position when the shaft rotates or moves.The optimization was done using FEA tools and benchmarked with actual calibration.This design can not only save space in transmission box but also reduce the sensor cost.It brings more opportunities for TE to gain market share of RNPS products.
