Study on the Water-consumption Characteristics and Water-saving Potential of Winter Wheat Based on the Mode of Integration of Micro-Irrigation and Fertilizer Application
The water resources in North China are of serious shortage.Agricultural production in this area has relied on the substantial extraction of underground water for a long time.In recent years,micro-spraying irrigation technology (micro-irrigation) has been applied in wheat production in this area. However, the studies on water-saving potential and impact of micro-irrigation on increasing the wheat yield and relevant physiological parameters are rarely available. In this study,we conducted an experiment with two irrigation modes and 6 to 12 irrigation amounts in the field having medium soil fertility in Dishang Experimental Station (38°41′N, 116°85′E) of the Institute of Cereal and Oil Crops, Hebei Academy of Agricultural and Forestry Sciences from 2013 to 2015 in the North China Plain.
