A Comparative Study on a New Possibilistic Clustering Model and the Crisp Clustering Model
Data clustering analysis is a process classifying a set of data in such a way that data in the same group should be as similar as possible.In crisp clustering, data are grouped into distinct clusters, where each datum belongs to exactly one cluster.Compared with crisp clustering, however, the biggest advantage of fuzzy clustering is that data can belong to more than one cluster with different membership degrees.To some extent, fuzzy clustering is more of practical significance.Recently, the discussion of algorithms of fuzzy clustering and the practical application have been studied widely.
