Low and Ultra low volume aerial application with rotary atomisers
Rotary atomisers were first developed commercially for use on aircraft in the early 1950s where the first installations were made onto Tiger moth bi planes for locust and tsetse fly control in Africa applying ultra low volume (ULV) applications at between 1 and 3l/ha of oil based formulations without the addition of water.
