An introduction of US EPA next generation framework for risk science

The U.S.Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) published Next Generation Risk Assessment: Recent Advances in Molecular, Computational, and Systems Biology (NexGen) in 2014.It explores new, more efficient approaches to evaluating chemical safety and to addressing key issues.Applications range from screening and prioritizing thousands of chemicals for further evaluation to augmenting traditional, data-rich chemical assessments in support of national regulations.
