Investigation on the 600℃ isothermal section of the Fe-Al-Ce Ternary system
In this work equilibrated alloys were utilized with the help of scanning electron microscope equipped with dispersive X-ray spectroscope and X-ray power diffraction to determine the phase relations of the Fe-Al-Ce ternary system at 600℃.The results show that fifteen three-phase regions have been found in the 600℃ section.Six ternary phases have been identified in this section, namely, ψ-CeFe2All0、 ψ 2-CeFe2Al7、 ψ3-CeFe4Al8、 ψ5-Ce5Fe4Al6, and the ψ4 and ψ6 phases should be determined in future study.
