Synthesis of Chrysenopyrazoles and Fluorescence Properties

  Chrysenopyrazoles were synthesized from o-hydroxyacetophenones and aryl halides via four steps.Intermediate 3-phenyl-4-arylpyrazoles were obtained in good yields.Irradiating 3-phenyl-4-arylpyrazoles, dehydration product chrysenopyrazoles and dehydrogenation product hydroxy-chrysenopyrazoles were obtained in the meantime.The fluorescence properties of chrysenopyrazoles were determined, and hydroxy-chrysenopyrazolesemit yellowish-green light in alkalinity due to excited-state intramolecular proton transfer (ESIPT).
