Ore-forming fluid evolution of the Mayuan Pb-Zn deposit in Nanzheng, Shaanxi Province, China:Constrained by Sr isotope

1 Geological characteristics The Mayuan Pb-Zn deposit located in the northern Yangtze Block has been paid more and more attention because of its huge Pb and Zn resources prospect.Previous studies have been carried out on the geological characteristics (Qi et al., 2004), fluid inclusion (Liu et al., 2015) and mineralization age (Li et al., 2007).However,the ore-forming fluid evolution has not been discussed. This study is to investigate the characteristic of ore-forming fluid evolution by Sr isotope in an effort to provide genetic evidences for the Pb-Zn mineralization. The orebodies are mainly hosted in Sinian Dengying Formation brecciated dolostone and controlled by interformational faulted zone structure. The ore minerals primarily contain sphalerite and galena, and the gangue minerals are mainly dolomite, quartz, barite, calcite and solid bitumen.
