Research the theory of enhancing stiffness of paper cone
This paper use mathematic technique to transform a paper cone as a variational cross section pole and take a force analysis on it.Investigation shows that the bending moment is a major cause to the stress on paper cone while working.The maximum stress producing in paper cone is come from the bending moment brought by driving force.The maximum stress point is on both surfaces of paper cone.Increasing the paper cone thickness can increase stiffness.Some methods to increase the stiffness of paper cone are recommended by referring to the principle of increasing stiffness for poles.
