Novel miniaturized antenna made of the lumped element loaded AMC surface

摘要：

　　A novel small antenna based on a microstrip line over a miniaturized artificial magnetic conductor (AMC) using lumped capacitors is presented.This antenna measuring λ/12.5×λ/15.6×λ/41 is platform tolerant and can be placed on a large metal surface.Operating at 1.2 GHz the miniaturised AMC antenna has a measured bandwidth of 1.7% with radiation efficiency of 27%.
