A novel tri-band bandpass filter design using open-loop dual-mode resonators
This paper presents a novel triple-band bandpass filter using dual-mode open-loop resonator.The dual-mode resonators excite non-degenerate modes by using open-loaded stub.The nature of the dual-mode resonator is investigated through the even-odd mode analysis.Results verify that the central frequency of the proposed filter are 1.8GHz,2.4GHz and 3.5GHz,the fractional bandwidth are 20.5%,9.58% and 4%,respectively.At the same time,there are several transmission zeros located at each passband and return losses are greater than 15dB.It provides the filter with improved selectivity and stopband suppression.A good agreement between simulation and measurement verifies the validity of this design methodology.
