The Automatic Recognition Method of Cold Rolling Strip Running Deviation Based on Flatness Detection

  With reference to the problem of strip running deviation caused by non symmetrical wave of incoming strip,cross wedge,equipment installation accuracy deviation,unreasonable process and etc in the cold rolling process,this study fully considered mechanical and technological characteristics of the cold rolling unit and proposed a calculation method for the strip running deviation direction and the amount of running deviation by putting the shape feedback value obtained from contact type shapemeter into the shape calculation model.This method is applied to the production practice,mainly to solve a situation that most manufacturers do not equip with edge detection instrument,with only the shape meter,to detect the strip deviation,considering the cost factor.The method has achieved good results,obtaining the accurate strip running deviation direction and the amount of running deviation,with further popularization and application values.
