Contact Fatigue Damage Distribution form Assessment of Backup Rolls

摘要：

　　The contact stress distribution of backup rolls in a strip production line was analyzed by finite element method.Based on the contact stress,the fatigue damage in the axial section of backup roll was theoretically assessed and characterized by hardness test.The result revealed that the damage distribution of backup roll are consistent well with that obtained by theoretical method.
