Advantages and Potentials of E2Strip-A Subversive Strip Casting Technology for Production of Electrical Steels

　　In this paper,the advantages and potentials of E2Strip,i.e.ECO-Electric Steel Strip Casting,a subversive strip casting technology for production of electrical Steels created and developed by State Key Laboratory of Rolling and Automation(RAL)·Northeastern University(NEU)·China are reported.The recent progress in the controlling of microstructure,texture,precipitation and magnetic properties of non-oriented,grain-oriented and high-silicon electrical steels is briefly outlined.Furthermore,the new specially designed compact and ecological production routes respectively for non-oriented,grain-oriented and high-silicon electrical steels are also mentioned.
