阿尔金断裂中段15Ma左右的应变集中:来自高精度地震反射的证据

The Altyn Tagh system is commonly thought to initiate in the early Cenozoic;however,when purestrike-slip motion occurred on its main trace,the Altyn Tagh Fault (ATF),remains an unsolved question.Tosolve this problem,we studied the integrated deformation history in the northwestern margin of the QaidamBasin next to the ATF based on newly-obtained high-resolution seismic reflection data.The result reveals aseries of basement-involved reverse faults merging the ATF at depth and constituting a 20 – 50 km fault zonesub-parallel to the ATF.
