Molecular cloning and identification of a novel gene pouBW1in chicken
Introduction LncRNAs are more than 200nt in length,generally up to 100 kb without having thefunctions ofencoding proteins,which is used to be called “junk DNA”.However,over the past fewyears,researchers has gained greet interest in the study of lncRNAs.To investigate candidate geneswhich lead to significant difference in growth rate between Gushi chicken and Ankabroilers,RNAseq was carried out with samples of leg muscle of chickens at the age of 6 weeks old in our lab,results showed that a novel gene,which was significantly differently expressed betweenthe two breeds,was found.
