Legal Integrity with Normative Translations: Normative Translation in the Heterogeneity of Law Ⅱ
Ⅰ.Introduction——Normative Translation and Its Two Dimensions ”1” In the interactive process of law where the transmigration and innovation of law may occur, we have to beware that there are many connecting points between different legal systems.These connecting points are the sites for certain interactions between those legal systems, and one of them is the translational process between different, or sometimes even heterogeneous, legal ideas.For example, in the reception process of Western law in East Asian legal systems (such as in Japan), the translation of foreign legal ideas into domestic language has been the very starting point of that reception process and one of the sustainable inputs for the development of law.So the main thesis in this article is that law is a product of the interactive translational process between various normative traditions.
