3 Fallacies and 4 Perspectives:On Post-80s Affordable Housing in Hong Kong
Housing is no longer a social issue but a political agenda to untangle complexities of the upcoming generation for a better or worse future to live in Hong Kong.Within the affluence society of Hong Kong, a population of over 500, 000 is conformed by the housing problem towards Working Poor who are neither able to mortgage their apartments nor beneficial from any public housing subsidies.So, the question is how to solve this core problem of housing provision for them.Is land supply crucial to solve the housing issue? Or are there any ofher approaches to lead them out of the current plight?
