临床路径的中性粒细胞减少发热

摘要：

Neutropenic fever is a medical emergency.Stable febrile neutropenic patient can deteriorate rapidly,and they warrant rapid blood culture and prompt treatment with broad spectrum antibiotic. A&E Departments in Hong Kong are always packed with patients,and it is not uncommon for febrile patients to wait for hours before they can receive medicalcare.Clinical pathway was adopted in QMH A&E to facilitate rapid identification,investigation and prompt antibiotic treatment of neutropenic febrile patients.Success factors for the clinical pathway are discussed.
