The research progress between Matrixmetalloproteinases (MMPs) and occurrence and development of ovarian cancer
Ovarian cancer is the highest mortality genital malignancies, Although it has taken active surgical treatment and effective chemotherapy after surgery, Its prognosis is still poor.Many scholars have found that matrix metalloproteinases have high expression in lung cancer, breast cancer ,stomach cancer , liver cancer, prostate cancer, etc.Matfix metalloproteinases have closely related with development, invasion and metastasis of malignant tumor.Recently,many researches suggest that matrix metalloproteinases have a large number of expression in ovarian cancer,hence, exploring its mechanism of action in ovarian cancer will help to developing effective anti-tumor drugs,consequently,improving the survival rate of patients in ovarian cancer.
