Usually we explain that Slovenija is North of Venice and South of Vienna.This is the direction that economic and spiritual influences have travelled in major historical migrations in Europe and even today.Ljubljana stands as a crossroad between East and West, North and South.Slovenia has a population of around 2 million, while nearly 300,000 inhabitants live in its capital Ljubljana.
