Introduction:Public Interest Lawyers and the Public Interest In America there is now a century old tradition of ”public interest law”--lawyers who use their training and experience to help solve public problems.The concept of ”Public Interest” is universal,but,of course,the meaning of the idea may differ from time to time and place to place;people may disagree a about which people or insitutions can speak for the public interest.In America,the idea of public interest lawyering arose to describe private (not government) lawyers who help address problems that government and markets cannot fully address by themseives.
