Compact bandpass filter with multiple transmission zeros using short-circuit centered SIHR

A compact bandpass filter using stepped impedance resonators (SIRs) is presented.To achieve good selectivity and wide stopband,multiple transmission zeros are introduced in the stopband,via proposed short-circuit centered stepped impedance hairpin resonator (SCSIHR).Through proper electric and magnetic coupling,existing in the proposed SCSIHR,five transmission zeros can be generated for the purpose of high selectivity and wide stopband.The new bandpass filter has been analyzed,simulated and fabricated.Measured results are in good agreement with the analysis,and the circuit only occupies 0.088λg×0.095λg.
