Numerical Simulation On Hydraulic Charcteristics Of High Permeability River Closure MaTerials

  The large quality of natural stone is more difficult to obtain in river closure project, and is replaced by concrete tetrahedrons and other artificial prefabricated materials.The method was proposed that permeability of artificial prefabricated materials was suitably reinforced to allow some seepage from closure dike, and then reduced the difficulty of river closure.Based on this principle, a new permeable river closure material form is opening in the tetrahedral structure.The flow characteristic was studied by numerical simulation, and the results showed that size of opening would have a great impact on drag coefficient of permeable structure in water.Effectively reducing influence and intensity of vortex appeared in the tail region.Although the stability of permeable and non-permeable structure in water is consistent, flow characteristics is better than non-permeable tetrahedron.
