Pre-treatment of dye wastewater by electrolysis technology
Five kinds of dye wastewater were pretreated by electrolysis technology and the effect of decoloration and removal of Chemical Oxygen Demand(COD)from dye wastewater by electrolytic time,electric current and pH value were studied.The experimental results show the optimal experimental conditions are as follows: current of 2A,10 min,and acidic solution.Furthermore,the longer electrolysis,the higher the color removal rate and can reach 90%.In acidic conditions,the color and COD of treatment was better compare to alkaline and neutral solution.
