Effect of ultrasonic treatment on fluid flow in coal
A new type of equipment for the measurement of gas and water permeability in coal samples was designed.The effect of ultrasonic treatment on water and gas permeability in coal was studied.Experiments show that the seepage velocity of CO2 in coal is lower than that of methane and nitrogen.The seepage velocity of gas increases with the increase of ultrasonic power.The permeability of water increases after ultrasonic treatment,the higher the ultrasonic power,the higher the permeability increasing ratio,the maximum increasing ratio can reach 60%.The coal powder can be produced obviously after ultrasonic treatment,which can relieve the particle plugging in coal and increase the permeability.
