Kinetic of Isoquinoline Biodegradation in Coke Wastewater by Strain Y-4

  The biodegradation of isoquinoline of different initial concentrations in coke wastewater by the high efficiency strain Y-4 was studied,and reaction dynamic equation was adopted to fit the degradation process.Experimental results showed that strain Y-4 has high efficiency degradation to isoquinoline.With the same initial strain concentration,the degradation rate and the average degradation rate mainly depended on initial isoquinoline mass concentration.With organic compound concentration < 500 mg/L,isoquinoline was completely degraded within 40 h,which the bacteria wasn”t be restrained by isoquinoline in accordance with Monod equation;with organic compound concentration > 500 mg/L,the degradation rate and the average degradation rate were low because of high initial concentration restrainded the growth of the bacteria.
