Analysis of Thermal Performance of the New Brackish water Desalination System Driven by Wind Energy and Solar Energy
According to energy distribution and energy utilization in northwest of China,the desalination system which driven by wind and solar united is put forward in this paper,and it organically combines with solar technology,wind energy and traditional desalination system.The working principle of the system is described,and the mathematical model is also established.The evaluation indexes are set up,which include the daily water yield,unit heat consumption rate of freshwater and system performance factor (COP),then basing on the data on average daily radiation intensity of solar radiation in Lanzhou area,the thermal performance of the system is analyzed.The research shows that: This system can have a continuous freshwater output from January to December with the condition of solar radiation in Lanzhou area,the highest water production rate of this system may achieve 2.0kg/(m2·h).
