Energy Consumption Analysis and Energy Saving Solutions in Qilidian WWTP
This paper is going to research the energy saving and optimization of Qilidian Waste Water Treatment.The survey of energy consumption from Wastewater treatment plant shows that consumption of the secondary settling process is the largest which is about 69.15% of total energy consumption,followed by pre-treatment unit which is about 28.67% of total energy consumption.There are high energy consumption equipments that are the air blower,upgrade pumps,return pumps and plug-flow,etc.For these High energy consumption devices,the major energy saving measures is taken: Choosing the correct pumps to go with them according to the different flow rate,changing the current to reduce the energy consumption,improving the conditions of oxidation ditch water,choosing Good quality imported floeculants to reduce the usage of flocculant.Through these saving measures,the wastewater treatment plant improve its processing scale,meanwhile its treatment energy consumption has been reduce by 22%.
