中国麦積山石窟における観光客に起因する振動調查
The Maijishan Grottoes possesses 194 caves and many statues and wall paintings are preserved that date from the middle of the 5th century to the 13th century. The Maijishan Grottoes were registered in the Word Heritage properties Tentative List as a mixed heritage site in 2001 as the ”Maijishan Scenic Spots”.Recently the number of tourists has increased in the Maijishan Grottoes. It is feared that the vibration in the Maijishan Grottoes may cause the flaking of the wall paintings and the damage of the statues. This study is the investigation of the vibration originated by the tourists in the Maijishan Grottoes. As a result of the investigation, it was understood that the vibration generated by tourist activities spreads the restoration material applied to the wall painting to prevent flaking. It is expected that the flaking of the wall painting progresses with the vibration. The vibration increases as the number of tourists increases and new preservation methods are necessary in the Maijishan Grottoes.
