The Assessment Based on SWOT Analysis of the Tourism Development Potential in the Near-Border Area of Hong Kong-Luk Keng Marsh
The assessment objective is trying to reach a planning of possible tourism development forms in Luk Keng Marsh through SWOT analysis.Under SWOT analysis framework, a comprehensive site analysis will be made from four aspects (land use; circulation issues; environmental; social and cultural).Furthermore, after the SWOT analysis, the USED① skill will be needed for the output of the planning.It is essential because it may help the planners to make sure that the tourism planning could use the strengths, stop the weaknesses, exploit the opportunities and defend against the threats which the SWOT analysis shows as far as possible in the area.
