On English Language Teaching in the Context of Visual Culture

　　The shift towards visual culture in present times has made a great impact on the approach of people”s cognition of the world, which has brought about new horizons and means in education.With the support of the contemporary multi-media and internet technology, visual teaching has been introduced into schools.This paper discusses the introduction of visual teaching in English language teaching and its positive effects in improving the linguistic skills and teaching quality.
