Simulation on Trajectory Generation for a Hovercraft Control with DMOC

  Based on the newly proposed DMOC (Discrete Mechanics and Optimal Control), optimal trajectories are designed for a hovercraft.The energy-minimized trajectory from the DMOC method can guide the hovercraft with less energy, compared with NTG (Nonlinear Trajectory Generation).DMOC characteristics are investigated with interval changes.The theory and implementation procedures are provided to help researchers to utilize this method for other applications such as aircraft, satellite, robotics navigation and control.
