The Enlightenment of Gestalt Theory on the Life-Space Design

　　Gestalt theory is a scientific worldview;there is much rationality in life-space design philosophy. At present stage, the urban middle class makes new demands on life-space design because of the conversion era and greatly improved material level. The paper bases on Lewin”s life space concept of gestalt theory, and combines the user research on Nanjing urban middle class families, seeks for their real needs of life space from users” psychological and emotional aspects. This paper is focus on the environment, people and behavior that closely linked with the characteristics of life space, launches the preliminary discussion on life-space design philosophy of urban middle class in new era from a psychological view angle.
