The Design for Comfort of Automobile Seat Based on AnyBody Modeling System
The interaction between driver and automobile seat is investigated by using inverse dynamics, based on AnyBody modeling system. The mechanical comfort is evaluated through maximum muscle activity, compressive force of lumbar and shear force between human and seat pan. The result indicates that properly increasing friction coefficient and the angle of backrest will improve the comfort of the seat; in addition, proper softness of seat can also affect the comfort.
