Study on the Daylight Glare Evaluation for the Locomotive Cab of High-speed Train

摘要：

　　Daylight glare not only influences the security operation of the high-speed train, but also damages the driver”s eye health, which is an urgent problem to be solved in the ergonomics design of lighting environment for locomotive cab. This paper adopted computer simulation technique to compute the Daylight Glare Index for the cab of a new type of high-speed train. Then, an evaluation was made for the daylight glare of the new type high-speed train by comparing with an existing type of high-speed train. At last, some improvement suggestions were provided for the design of lighting environment for the high-speed train.
