Photocatalytic Degradation of Rhodamine B Using P25, ST-21 and ST-31 in Aqueous Solutions
Titanium dioxide is an excellent photocatalyst material for environmental purification. In this paper, photocatalytic activities for the degradation of Rhodamine B using different kinds of TiO2 powders (P25,ST21,ST-31) were investigated under ultraviolet irradiation. All the samples were characterized by XRD,FT-IR,UV-visible DRS and BET.The analysis of XRD indicated that P25 and ST-21 was mixture of anatase and rutile,ST-31 was anatase.By comparing their photocatalytic activities for the degradation of Rhodamine B,P25 had the best photocatalytic activity in the all samples.
