Subseasonal-to-Seasonal Prediction of the Asian and Indo-Pacific Climate

摘要：

The presenter will provide a review of the prediction skills of subseasonal-to-seasonal prediction of the Asian and Indo-Pacific climate by the United States National Centers for Environmental Prediction (NCEP) Climate Forecast System version 2 (CFSv2),which is a fully coupled forecast system used for operational climate prediction at NCEP and provides an important source of information for global and regional climate prediction.Focus is on the predictability and predictions of the Asian monsoon climate,El Nino-Southern Oscillation,and Indian Ocean sea surface temperature.
