Enhanced acid rain and atmospheric deposition of nitrogen,sulfur and heavy metals in Northern China

摘要：

Atmospheric deposition is considered to be a major process that removes pollutants from the atmosphere and an important source of nutrients and contaminants for ecosystems.In response to the growing concern on the potential effects of the deposited material entering terrestrial and aquatic environments as well as their subsequent health effects,since 2007 we have established a lO-site monitoring network in Northern China,where particularly susceptible to severe air pollution.
