Smart grid and demand response are hot research topics in the electric power industry.As a major scientific and technological innovation and the transformation of the electric power market trends in the 21st century,the smart grid has brought new opportunities and challenges to implement demand side management in electric power industry.Demand response is a kind of derivative products of demand side management.It has some advantages,such as interaction between information and energy,encouraging users to change the traditional ways of electricity,participating in power grid operation actively,power mode adjustment based on the real-time electricity price.All of those make it an important part of smart grid construction.
