Ultrasonic Localization Method of Partial Discharge in Power Transformer Based on Quantum Genetic Algorithm
Partial discharge (PD) in power transformer is one of the main reasons resulting in insulation degradation and power fault.Hence,it is of great importance to study the techniques of the detection and localization of PD in theory and practice.The paper elaborates the principles and the mathematical model of ultrasonic localization methods; the quantum genetic algorithm (QGA) is applied to locate PD in power transformer; then the ultrasonic localization method of PD in power transformer adopting the QGA is proposed,and the paper compares the effectiveness of localization of it with the genetic algorithm (GA).In contrast,the results of the case study demonstrate that the QGA can effectively prevent the results from being caught in the local best and the effectiveness of localization based on the QGA is ideal,and better than the GA.
