Construction of a Raman probe for sensing Fe3+
Iron in trivalent state as one of the most essential elements for both plants and animals, including humans, plays an important role in cellular metabolism and enzyme catalysis.Consequently, either overload or deficiency of Fe3+ may induce many diseases, including dysfunction of organs and certain cancers.Especially, shortage of Fe3+ in human body may cause anemia, hemochromatosis, liver damage, diabetes and Parkinson”s disease.
