The Study of Inter-temporal Insurance Consumer Decision-making from the Perspective of Family Life Cycle
Inter-temporal insurance decision-making will be studied in this paper based on traditional family decision-making theory. In order to reflect the behavioral characteristics of household consumption realistically, characteristics including wealth accumulation, consumption inertia, preference change, time inconsistency, precautionary saving motive, life cycle and insurance expenditure will be taken into consideration. These factors lead the analysis of inter-temporal consumption optimization into a complex combinatorial optimization problem.A three-dimensional path planning ant colony algorithm is chosen to find the optimal path of inter-temporal insurance decision-making from the perspective of life-cycle.The optimal path of insurance decision-making can be found through numerical simulation. The results show that rational insurance expenditure can smooth the consumption and improve the utility across life-cycle.
