Learning rules for pre-hospital trauma assessment using a generic belief rule-base inference methodology-RIMER
Pre-hospital trauma triage could help pre-hospital medical workers totransfer trauma patients to appropriate hospitals to receive appropriatemedical care.To provide accurate pre-hospital trauma assessment,manypre-hospital trauma scoring systems such as Pre-hospital Index (PHI),Trauma Index (TI),Glasgow Coma Score (GCS) and so on have beendeveloped in the past four decades.Through our previous research, wefound that TI and GCS outperform PHI in identifying severe trauma, though none of them can provide satisfactory pre-hospital trauma triage.
