Elicit effective information from requirement specification documents based on Ontology
Software requiremen document treating is an important and difficult problem in requirement engineering.Many requirement documents in real application development are full of non-effective information.This paper gives method to elicit effective information from requirement specification documents.A software requirement domain ontology model is built as a knowledge support for requirement specification.The requirement specification document is defined precisely based on an extended ABNF.Effectiveness of requirement is described in three aspects.They are the formalization level,the proximity and the abnormity.An effective information elicit process is given,by this process,effective blocks of a requirement document could be elicited out and the ambiguous and irrelevant concepts would be eliminated.
