The impact of the previous leader-member exchange on the current leader-member exchange and organizational commitment-based on the social-cognitive model of transference
Based on the social cognitive model of migration,this paper discusses the migrating effects of the LMX between the employee and the previous leader.The result shows that the LMX between employee and the previous leader influences employees” organizational commitment,mediated by the LMX with the current leader.Traits difference in leaders and transference resistance negatively moderated the relationship.
