Numerical Calculations of New Innovative Heat Treatment

When developing new materials and alloys,there exists a technology that has not yet been widely utilized.A specifically designed HIP,equipped with URQTM (Uniform Rapid Quenching) or U2RCTM (Uniform Ultra Rapid Control) can perform heat treatments that are impossible to do in any other way.It also enables cooling rates of several thousand °C/min while keeping the resulting thermal stresses to very low levels.Comparing to conventionally available heat treatment methods,the thermal stresses can be reduced with up to one order of magnitude or more.
