Religion and Moral Responsibility: Confucianism vs. Christianity

Religions define for us our relationship with the numinous.They help us come to grips with a universe which is too vast for our individual understanding. And this is precisely what has made it appealing to people for the entire course of humanity. It tells us about what exists on the other side of ”this world.”But in a more practical way, religion informs its believers how to be good people in this world. And in this sense, Christianity and Confucianism are entirely comparable.
